Working with Information

The battery consists of 3 tests: “Working with Numerical Information”, “Working with Verbal Information” and “Checking Information”. These tests are intended for candidates applying for administrative positions i.e. secretaries, assistant managers, office administrators etc.

“Working with Information” was designed by ONTARGET in 2004 using Russian-language business materials: Internet articles, advertising brochures, working instructions etc.

“Working with Information” is available in a paper & pencil version and online in the ONTARGET system. In the online version, questions are randomly selected from a large pool of questions (100 for the numerical test, 110 for the verbal test and 90 for the test “Checking Information”).

Working with Numerical Information
This test assesses the applicant’s ability to work with numerical information represented partly in tables and make basic calculations. The test consists of 33 questions and lasts 14 minutes.

Working with Verbal Information
This test assesses the applicant’s ability to interpret text information, understand instructions and make correct decision corresponding to these instructions. The test consists of 36 questions and lasts 14 minutes.

Checking Information
This test assesses the applicant’s ability to work systematically and his attention to detail in writing letters and numbers. The test consists of 30 questions and lasts 6 minutes.
